We do not use any recycled colour bottle glass in our blasting glass which results in our product being mostly translucent in colour. Using these types of glass in our blasting glass it reduces the chemical deposition on the blasting surface.

Our products are also metal-free and will not transfer pigments or ferrous deposits onto the area that is being blasted therefore re-rust (Rust-back) is less like to be a concern on a blasted surface as it is with other abrasive blasting media. The blasting glass is also chemically inert which reduces any concern about residues that may affect the procedure that is required after blasting like, for example, painting.

The blasting glass is easily reusable as it will not absorb materials throughout a closed blasting process. Our product can be used during dry and wet blasting. The blasting glass is very well suited for any blasting close to a water source.

Our products have different grit sizes ranging from coarse to extra fine. The different grit sizes will help determine the surface profile that will remain after the blasting has taken place.

Our crushed glass is angular media which means that it has sharp edges which will cut into the material, leaving an anchor profile that will be ideal for a new finish to stick on.
